    Assalamoalaikum brothers,

I understand that order to say these words “Inshaa Allah and Mashaa Allah” have come with a clear context in Surah Kahf.

Are saying these words considered a Sunah in Islam?

They are the manners which have been taught to us by the prophet.

So in other words ‘not saying these words is not a dislike (Makroh) act or a sin’? One can say it or not – it’s his manners not an order or Sunah in Islam.

On another note, what about some other words like Bismillah, Alhamdulillah, SubhanAllah etc.

Some manners are Sunnah like saying slam, saying alhamdu lillah on sneezing and saying bismillah.

These are manners and one should adopt them. They are not compulsory or avoiding them make one sinful.
