It is being said that science and neuroscience have rejected free will. Determinism is considered correct, and now we are being invited toward absolute determinism. I even read a book by Sapolsky.
Can you please share with me some blogs, books, or ideas that explain where the basic error might be in this argument—especially since neuroscience is being cited as evidence?
As Ghamidi Sahab often says, we should reflect on the basics of things, go deep into their foundations to see how strong they are and whether they are based on facts—only then should we proceed further. Will you please help me understand this matter? Thanks in advance.

It is not science or neuroscience that eject free will, but philosophy does, citing some findings of science or neuroscience and deriving their theories from them. There is no evidence or it can be proved scientifically that free will does not exist. In the world of ideas, such speculations are discussed which go against the facts we experience. Our disputes with others, the system of reward and punishment, all this is based on the fact that we make others and ourselves responsible for their actions and deeds.
