Netflix And Other Platforms
Assalam O Alaikum! In certain netflix series there are some anti-religious campaining. Such as a scholar Raja Zia said that in a series they showed one of the Prophets(Upon Them Be Peace) as God Forbid in a bad manner. In those series it is written that netflix produced series etc:
1. Are we allowed to watch certain other things on netflix which do not have such things even when it is clear to us that netflix itself is making disrespectful series as opposed to youtube in which content creators make videos?
2. In the movies on whichever platform we watch is it Halal to watch and skip parts with nudity or homosexual relationships. What if we intend on skipping but a scene comes all of a sudden we see it slightly and skip as soon as possible are we sinful?

You can skip the undesirable parts.
Every platform has something undesirable. This doesn’t make it haram. You can watch the things good for you.

Thanks! just asked because i though in youtube people make the disrespectful towards Islam content not YouTube as platform itself. Netflix writes something like “netflix made series” etc. So i wanted to know if a platform itself makes such content disrespectful towards Islam, can we buy subscription and watch as we are benefitting them in monetary terms they generate profit and make more content from the money they earn from us. I wanted to know if i myself can watch the good content under these considerations.

Every platform entertains many kinds of audience. We use a platform for our benefit. Unless a platform is solely for something bad, it can be used for other purposes.
