Accessing Content Not Available In Pakistan
Is it permissible to use a different region to access a service not available in Pakistan. Doing this might be against the companies policy as they require you to provide the region where you live in but it’s not possible to provide them with this information as choosing Pakistan as a region isn’t even an option. If this is the case can you provide them with a different region where that service is available please keep in mind that they just require a region to link with a account and don’t really validate information.

It is still a lie which a Muslim needs to avoid. However, if this is harmless, it is a minor sin.

The problem is there is no alternative service you could use so if you have to use that service you are basically forced to lie but why is it still considered as a sin since you have no choice but to use a different region. Would it still be considered as a lie if you use a region still linked to you in someway like a country where a relative lives It would still technically be a lie but it’s better then just giving false information. Essentially what I’m trying to say is why is it still a sin if you have no other choice but to lie likewise you aren’t really lying to a human you are just filling out information while creating an account.
