With reference to the link given below, Ghamidi sb explain the Ayat 153-159 of Surah Nisa where the Quran talks about Hazrat Eesa AS protection from Jews.

Ghamidi sb rely on text from Injeel e Barnabas to explain what happened after Hazrat Eesa AS were ascended. Ghamidi sb quote from Injeel e Barnabas that 4 Angels descended from above and took Hazrat Eesa AS away. He further quotes the Injeel that the person who came to arrest Hazrat Eesa AS was made to appear like Hazrat Eesa and was crucified.

My question, who wrote these things in Injeel? Wahi is revealed to the followers through the Prophet. These things describe the aftermath of Hazrat Eesa’s ascension. If there was no prophet then how did the followers know that 4 Angels arrived and took Hazrat Eesa AS away? And that the face of the person who came to arrest Him was changed. When the Prophet passes away, the Wahi stops. But Ghamidi sb take this explanation as the most trusted one.

I’ve no comments on the explanation itself rather on the source. Just like he’s critical when taking evidence from Ahadees, he should also be critical for sources from Injeel.

PS: I’ve also watched the latest series on Nuzool e Maseeh in his YouTube series with Hassan Ilyas. But here the point is different.

He already mentioned that ” there are dispute on its authenticity. However it seems more likely that it could have happened.”

So he is arguing based on probability not authenticity. Secondly, barnabas is being used for historical reporting, not as a source of deen.

Thatswhy he is more criticla of hadiths.
