Can I shorten prayer as I am visiting a town ans staying there for 2 nights. At this time I have no hurry and relaxed. After that I travel to another city and live there for around a month so can I shorten my prayers and combine them or is this invalid as at nearly all times I am relaxed

If you do not feel any unease or unusual hardship because of your travel then you shouldn’t shorten your prayer. You have to make an honest decision.

My point is that I haven’t heard ghamidi sahab or any scholar say that we cannot shorten prayer if there is no hardship even in travel

And my question is that would shortening prayers be invalid or its just not recommended and one can still do it

It is to be decided by the person whether or not they feel any unusual hardship.

So what i Understand is that without valid reason shortening prayers would be invalid and sitting in relatives home does not equate to shortening as there is no reason @Umer25

The hadith found in Sahih Muslim, narrated by Ya’la ibn Umayyah. He asked Umar ibn al-Khattab about the verse in Surah An-Nisa (4:101):

    > “When you travel through the land, there is no blame on you if you shorten the prayer, if you fear that those who disbelieve may attack you.”

Ya’la questioned why Muslims continue to shorten their prayers during travel even when there is no fear of enemy attack. Umar replied that he had the same concern and asked the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ about it. The Prophet ﷺ responded:

    > “It is a charity which Allah has bestowed upon you, so accept His charity.” This hadith is recorded in Sahih Muslim, Book 6, Hadith 1016.

This narration clarifies that the concession to shorten prayers during travel is a divine gift, not solely contingent upon the presence of danger. Therefore, Muslims are encouraged to accept and practice this concession as an act of gratitude and adherence to the Prophet’s ﷺ guidance.
