Assalam O Alaikum! If i find a certain view in Prayer of one school of thought strong such as raising hands before Ruku’ or reciting Qur’an in silent prayers at the same time:

    1. In the same Prayer i find another view of another school more authentic such as the Hanafi method of something, such that if my whole prayer is judged by the lens of any one of the schools it is wrong even maybe invalated but i on basis of seeing for myself different views find a mixed method most authentic – am i sinful and is orayer valid?

    2. Also what is i normally pray Compulsory Prayers Shafi’i way but funeral prayer and Witr Hanafi way because i find compulsory Prayer Shafi’i way more authentic snd witr and funeral orayer Hanafi way more authentic can i do so?

    Please answer these separately.

Yes, you can do that. As long as you are satisfied with a particular way as being prescribed in Sharia, then you should follow that. It doesn’t matter which school it belongs to. On a side note, please keep in mind that Salah is divided into two parts, one is obligatory part and the second is discretionary part. The first part is unanimous among all the muslims, the differences only arise in the latter part which is discretionary.
