Anxiety While Choosing A Partner
There are some people who have a firm belief that whatever is written for them will come their way, without them having to do something about it. For example right job etc. Similarly, alot of men start getting worried in their 20s thinking that if they dont find a girl right now, they’ll have to marry someone with whom their understanding isn’t well or they might regret later. At the same time, some men also don’t have the instinct to talk to every other girl(with marriage intentions) or socialize in general. How should one overcome that anxiety as they think whoever is written for them, will come to them naturally without them having to try but at the same time, thinking, that maybe its all in their hands?

Thankyou irfan sb, i understood the main concept but had some questions. So, basically with the Olevel example, you’re saying that Allah already knows our results, then where does free will come into play. Because if He knows, then ill exactly do that. Secondly, talking about choosing a partner specifically, how should one approach the process and know who is the perfect one chosen by God. While applying for jobs; you just apply and wait for Allah to give you the right one, but for marriage, you obviously have to know a person for some time and there are other circumstances nowadays as well. What would you advise?

God knows, it does mean that one is not free to act. The person makes a move, and that is why God knows it.
God does not choose everything for you. You make an effort and get the result. However, when you pray to God to guide you and choose a good person or job for you, you can hope that God will grant it. You keep making your efforts while praying to God.
