Charity Or Family Support/Future Planning
A person supports multiple poor families financially on a regular basis while being single. After he gets married, his expenses increase. He plans his finances to keep emergency funds and some investments for future and in order to do that he might need to reduce support to the families he used to help. While zakat is also being paid in addition to those families’ support, what should be the right action at this point in the light of islam?
