Baby Death
In English (for Ghamidi Sahib):
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah,
If a baby dies during the night in bed, and there is doubt whether the mother accidentally crushed the baby in her sleep — but it is not certain — does the mother have to fast for two consecutive months as kaffarah ?
Please guide in light of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
