    Assalamu Alaikum

Could you explain what this hadith means? Has Ghamidi sahab ever commented on this? How must we take it?

It was narrated from Mu’adh bin Jabal that:

the Messenger of Allah said: “No woman annoys her husband but his wife among houris (of Paradise) safs: ‘Do not annoy him, may Allah destroy you, for he is just a temporary guest with you and soon he will leave you and join us.”‘

    Assalamu Alaikum

Thank you for the reply. I have a question

Ghamidi Sahab says something like this hadith is talking about the men who deserve jannah (and thus would be good people ) and are annoyed by their wives. But won’t all Muslims eventually end up in Jannah ? So how does this hadith talk about only good men?

    Thank you

Eventually ending up in Jannah after going through a process of Tazkiya via punishment or via special mercy & forgiveness are different than going to Jannah on the basis of deeds alone in a straight manner. Secondly, it is not about just being a Muslim enough criteria for Jannah. Those Muslims who did not commit rebellion or shirk against God, but did commit sins and asked for Allah’s forgiveness and tried to change their attitude in the world, will hopefully enter jannah because of Lord’s mercy and forgiveness.

Please refer to the three part video shared in the following thread where this Hadith is discussed in detail:
