What is meant here by “the book and the wisdom”?
The Cow (2:151) “Since We have sent you a messenger from among yourselves—reciting to you Our revelations, purifying you, teaching you the Book and wisdom, and teaching you what you never knew”
I saw on the Muslim Lantern channel that Muhammad Ali said that “the book” here refers to the Quran, and “the wisdom” refers to the hadith!
He argued this because the word “and” indicates that these are two separate things. This means that “the wisdom” here is not the Quran, and anything other than the Quran must be the hadith!
Is this interpretation correct, sir?
