That law applies specifically to the progeny of Prophet Abraham (SWS) which includes both Bani-Israel who call themselves Jews, and Bani-Ismael who call themselves Muslim. Christians are not part of either of them. We Muslims, who are not Bani-Ismael, are also subjected to the results of that law by way of association.
