My wife and I hold our estates and everything with it jointly. That is she owns 50% of every thing which we own. I would like to give my 50% to my wife in my will. Can I do this. Other alternative is that I gift her as a part of MAHR settlement, which I think I can do without breaking the sharia rule. As I am allowed to give my wife, as much as I want, and she can also demand to increase her MAHR , in respect of her life time devotion and services. Am I allowed to do this.

I will be grateful for your advice

    Thanks

There is no restriction in giving your wealth to your wife in your will in Shariah, if no injustice is done to other heirs.

However Fiqh Hanafi allows to make will only in the one third of estate.
