“If Allah is Most Merciful, then why is shirk the only sin that He does not forgive if someone dies without repenting from it? Has Ghamidi Sahib explained this point anywhere in his lectures? If yes, kindly share the video reference.”

God is merciful for those who deserve mercy. They try to do good but commit some mistakes. The rebels on the other hand, deliberately commit a major and blatant sin whether they are polytheists or murderer etc they are not forgiven.

Polytheism is an assertion or claim that there are more than one God. This assertion has no argument, no knowledge, it is but a lie. When a person insist on keeping it despite having no justification, he denies God and his own intellectual and his consciene. Thefore he deserves no mercy.

In Surah Al-Furqan (25:68-69), three major and gravest sins are mentioned together: shirk (associating partners with Allah), murder, and zina (fornication/adultery). It is understood that a person who dies without repenting from any of these sins will face severe punishment. However, there are other Quranic verses, such as Surah An-Nisa (4:48), which state that Allah will forgive all sins except shirk if a person dies without repenting from it.
Does this mean that shirk is considered a more severe sin than murder and zina, and that its intensity is higher? Is my understanding correct?
