    In the ayah 2:46:

    ٱلَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُم مُّلَٰقُواْرَبِّهِمۡ وَأَنَّهُمۡ إِلَيۡهِ رَٰجِعُونَ

Ghamidi Sahab translates يَظُنُّونَ as “assumption” and not “certainty” when all other tafseer say “certainty”, why?

Plus he said in a video regarding this verse that it is only our zann e ghalib (dominant assumption) that we will see God, and thats all thats required of humans and muslims and to ask for certainty is actually not natural because we have not seen God. Why then is the punishment for denying just an assumption eternal hell? If its just an assumption and not certainty.

Has he answered these questions somewhere?

Zann e ghalib is not an assumption. A conviction is a zann e ghalib. Humans use this faculty to decide with certainty. For example the courts issue death sentences on the bases of zann e ghalib in the light of evidences. Zann e Ghalib is certainty but technically it is lesser than the certainty which is attained after watching and experiencing a thing.
