Ghamidi sahab often says that even a “common person” can read the a “saada Tarjuma” of the Qur’an and be guided by it. Also that we don’t really need the Hadith to find what the Qur’an means.
I often have people come up and ask that if the Qur’an is so coherent, why does the “law of inheritance” in the Qur’an need an elaborate interpretational explanation?

The shariah of Qur’an involves technicalities which requires higher qualification. The rest of Qur’an is easy to understand. Everyone should read the Qur’an and when he or she finds a something difficult, they should consult a Tafseeri or a scholar. Every book of knowledge is studied this way.
