Assalamu Alaikum, if someone takes an oath they regret taking, how can they get out of it? And when an oath is broken and we give the atonement, is the oath still there or after that breaking it is no longer there? JazakAllahu Khairan.

After breaking the oath, it is no longer there. Atone for it and God will forgive you.
