My ex husband sent me divorce later from abroad to Pakistan. First divorce letter was issued on 10th march. Second on 18th June and third on 24th July. I wasn’t living with him during this period. We separated in January this year after that we didn’t meet. So I would like to ask if I have iddat till when? And divorce notices were submitted to union council in August so I will get divorce certificate after 3-4 months. If I want to do nikkah again with another person Islamically. Is islamically I am allowed to do ? Or is there any restriction. Means Islamically I am free from ex husband and idat completed as I wasn’t living with him. If that’s possible to do Nikkah I need fatwa on that.

Your iddat starts from 10 March. It completes till 10 June. The divorces issued after iddat are nullified.
Iddat is observed to see whether the woman is pregnant or not.

Thank you for your response. So Can I remarry Islamically now ? As iddat is completed. The main concern is this. As divorce certificate will be issued in three four months due to late submission if documents in union council.But iddat is completed. So Islamically Nikkah is allowed?

Yes, but you may need to fulfill the formalities of the legal procedure, which is a separate issue. In that case, a lawyer may guide you.
