What does ghamidi sahab mean when he says hadith is a historical record. I don’t think that he means that it’s just a history of prophet as it seem to contradict and his other statements & also that he’s incorporated many Hadith in his book.

Hadith is a historical record of the Prophet’s life, actions, and sayings. Since it is his record, it includes, among other things, the applications, the explanation of Deen by the Prophet, and his Ijtihad.

Will the explanation be called Deen?

Also what about usw e hassanah, ghamidi sahab even included it in deen.( See the picture)

In meezan the source of religion in prophet and he’s given us only two things as deen: Qur’an and Sunnah.

The contents of Deen are actual Deen, while its explanation and the conditions of its practice and performance are additional elements. This is categorization to appreciate the difference of Deen and its applications and explanaiton.

If you see the screens shot of his essay ghamidi sahab has included hadeeth and uswa e hassan into deen. Which seems contradictory to what he says and has written in meezan.
