Assalamu Alaikum, if someone talks a lot with their friends, are they sinful for doing this since idle talk is disliked by Allah according to Quranic ayat and hadith? This is throughout the day. JazakAllahu Khairan

It is not sinful if one fulfills one’s duties. However, one should avoid too much idle talking.
