Gratitude Towards God For Successful Results But Confusions About Abilities
I have a strong desire to solve problems and create things using capabilities that God has given me (creativity and imagination for instance) and it gives me great pleasure and I also feel grateful to God for giving me these capabilities as well as the resources and opportunities by which I was able to succeed
But I am confused about assigning my success to my abilities (partly of course) as some scholars and some verses indicate that I shouldn’t be doing this and instead believe that it was all because of God which although is fine by me it takes away that pleasure of desire of having the ability to solve problems on your own. This desire seems to be innate so it doesn’t feel wrong to have it either. I do strongly believe that God is the one who gave me everything but I want to use my God-given capabilities to solve problems and there is fulfillment to it but the confusion takes away that
