Offering Nafl Salah Before Duhr In Pairs Of 2 Instead Of Four Rakah
Is it okay to pray 2 sets (each consisting of 2-rikats) of non-mandatory salat before the 4-rikat of the mandatory salats of duhr?
I am asking this question because I know people pray 1 set of 4-rikats (4 sunnat) before the 4 fard of duhr. So basically I am asking that can I break them in 2 sets.

Sure you can, there is no prohibition. It is an optional prayer. Prophet (SWS) is also reported to have offered only 2 rakah nafl before Duhr Salah. There are narrations on both 4 rakah before Duhr and 2 rakah before Duhr. You can also offer 2 pairs of 2 rakah nakl Salah separately.
