  • Reading And Understanding The Translation Along With Arabic During Salah

Suppose someone is praying alone and holding a mobile in their hand to read the Quran. They recite the Arabic silently, and at the same time, they read and try to understand the translation silently to follow the meaning.
My question is: Is it permissible to read and understand the translation along with the Arabic during Salah, or should Salah only be performed with Arabic recitation without looking at the translation?

    JazakAllah khair for your guidance.

Yes, I recite Surah Fatiha and a part of the Quran in Arabic, so that requirement is fulfilled. After that, I also look at the translation of the same Arabic while reciting, because I want to understand the meaning as I pray. I do this in qayaam, and not in tahajjud, but in regular namaz. Sometimes I do it in nafl and sometimes even in farz when I am praying alone. Could you please give me a specialized answer on whether this is permissible or not?

      Thank you

Yes, permissible. As long as the mandatory requirements are being fulfilled.
