Molana Hameed ud din farahi’s opinion is that the elephants and the people of “abraha” were attacked by Quresh and then the folk of birds came to eat them….
It is said the Quresh attacked with stones and then Allah helped them….but what Quran says is that it were small pebbles made of clay which killed the elephants and co. Even in many narrations Hazrat Aisha and other sahabi described the size of pebbles….very small similar to groundnuts or beans…..
Should we say that the people of quresh were throwing stones of this size onto the people of elephant?
