Let’s revisit the story of the angels questioning Allah’s decision to create humans, as mentioned in the Quran (2:30).
The angels’ concern was that humans would spread corruption and violence on earth.
However, Allah’s response, “Indeed, I know that which you do not know” (Quran 2:30), indicates that He has a deeper understanding of His creation and the greater good.
This story connects to our discussion about the existence of evil and suffering in the world. It highlights that Allah was aware of the potential for corruption and violence when He created humans, but He also knew that humans would have the capacity for good, compassion, and righteousness.
In Islam, we believe that Allah is Just and Merciful, and He will hold us accountable for our actions. However, we must avoid making assumptions or judgments about individuals or events, as this is not our place.
Instead, we should focus on cultivating empathy, compassion, and understanding. We should strive to be instruments of peace, justice, and kindness, leaving the judgment and accountability to Allah.
May Allah guide us towards wisdom, compassion, and righteousness.
