    Assalam Aleikum,

Can Muslims consume health supplements/multi vitamins i.e. Centrum / Nature Made that are not Halal certified? what about tablets and capsules, can they be taken? And can we eat cheese that has unspecified rennet in it!?

Sir the only reason I don’t personally use centrum is because it has gelatin in it. The question you asked is not clear as to what the problem is. If its gelatin then obviously not. Thats the only reason I try to find multivitamins which dont have gelatin. Same is with omega 3 tablets which usually do have gelatin unless they are vegan or gelatin free.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iOY-VyaGFPoThis video talks about gelatin ( part 1 of 2)Dr Shahzad Saleem commented in a Q&A that rennet may be considered chemically changed and more importantly it cannot be categorised as an edible item as it is basically enzymes. I do use only halal certified for both myself if I can but gelatin becomes a huge hassle in case of medicines, a truly stressful experience if u get admitted.
