Where To Look During Salah
Assalamu Alaikum, is it a fard, sunnah, or wajib act to look at the place of prostration during Salah? What is the proof for that? Where can we look during Salah since I know we are not supposed to look around during Salah. JazakAllahu Khairan.

If it were compulsory to tell where to look at during Salah it must have been a common knowledge like that of Salah itself. This is the yardstick to determine what is compulsory in the matters of worship.
Look at where your gaze falls naturally when you stand respectfully.
