Alcohol or ethanol is used as a preservative or solvent in many medicines these days and as a person who is pursuing medicine I’m confused what to do in this case. Even if it is a solvent or preservatives it’s still being used and consumed going into your circulatory system. Would it be impermissible to prescribe and consume such medicines?

But even if it is present in small amount and it’s large amount causes intoxication which should be avoided because the prophet forbade it himself that anything of which larger quantity causes intoxication it’s small should be avoided as well… With that point of view he presented if alcohol is used to preserve food or as a solvent then that food should be permissible too?

      Like some of fruit juices

They are not intoxicants. The element of intoxication is missing in the alcohol, which is used as a preservative.
