Is Replying To Adhan Words Obligatory
Assalamu Alaikum. Is it obligatory (wajib) to respond to the Adhan — that is, to repeat every word after the muezzin? What is the objection or ruling regarding someone who does not do so? Kindly explain. JazakAllah Khair.

If such things were obligatory, it would be well known to be obligatory. They are not.
