Correct Way Of Going About Charity
Which one is more rewarding and correct way according to what God has asked of us:
1. I want to give away my wealth for God -> so, I give it away to whom God has told me to
2. I want to give away my wealth to poor so that they can be at ease -> but I don’t want anything in return except that God is pleased with me and rewards me in the hereafter
The first one puts wanting to please God first and giving the wealth to needy only because that’s where God has told me to give it away and where it makes sense to go.
While the second one puts kindness towards others first but in return wanting God’s pleasure and reward from Him
