Seeking Guidance On Nikah Between A Sunni Woman And An Ahmadi Man
Question:
I am seeking guidance on behalf of a family member who is considering marriage with an Ahmadi Muslim man. The couple:
- Recite the same Kalimah
- Believe in Allah and the Qur’an
- Accept Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
- Believe in Khatm-e-Nabuwwat, though with a different interpretive understanding than the mainstream Sunni position
- Are not willing to change their respective religious affiliations
- Do not expect the other to convert or compromise faith
They have mutual respect for each other, but want to ensure that this Nikah would be permissible in Islam, valid and paak and that it would not involve committing any sin.
I humbly seek guidance on the following questions:
- Would such a Nikah be considered valid (ṣaḥīḥ) in Islam?
- Would the Nikah be paak, or would it be sinful for the woman?
- Are Ahmadis considered kafir in the legal Quranic sense, or is this an issue of interpretive disagreement (ta’wīl)?
- Is there any explicit injunction from the Quran that forbids such a marriage?
- Should this marriage be regarded as inter-faith, inter-sect, or neither?
- In the absence of a clear divine prohibition, does the decision rest on individual conscience and faith sensitivity.
Clarification is requested strictly in light of Quranic injunctions and established principles rather than social or sectarian opinions.
Please give brief explanation on that topic as I have searched blogs there are information very prcise but I needed specific information on that topic with Ghamdi Sahibs Opinion on that matter and scholors point of view as well
Thank You
