    My q is ;

    I have seen the video where ghamidi saab explains with very clear and strong arguments that isa alaysalaam died. And is not retruning.

    But I have an honest concern.

    If ghamdi saab is right then all the companions who held this view and related the hadiths about returning of isa got it all wrong. And in that sense one could say Quran was not clear to them while Quran is claiming to be revealed in clear arabic for its audience who could understand it. If the original audience got it wrong and held this belief that prophet isa will return for such a long time then the hadith corpus is not fully trustable anymore. Which can not be the case because some of the hadiths have come true. And also the claim of Quran that its in clear arabic and it has been made easy for rememberance etc etc then also fails beacsue its not clear about this big subject.

    Im very puzzled about this. Can ghamdi sahib expaln this issue kindly. How can the sahabas get it wrong and not even one among them corrected this belief.

    Jazakallah khair.

    The return of Jesus was not a popular idea with the companions. Only a few who had close ties with the people of the book reported it. They took it from them.

      So these companions took it and associated it to the saying of the prophet? And then Allah allowed such a creed to be widespread and let it become a major creed among Muslims? How is this even possible? I’m just asking it out of curiosity because eventhough Ghamdi sahib presents strong valid arguments but the opposite site to this also presents valid strong points. So those handful of companions did not understood the Quran and other companions let them spread such a doctrine ?

    There are many instances where the companions could not understand a statement of the Quran. God corrects only prophets, not others. The world He created is for the test. The test of knowledge is included.

      Then how come our beloved prophet not explained it ? He could have easily said isa is dead and this idea of him coming back killing dajjal is not true. But we find the opposite. Where the hadith is telling that the prophet is explaining that Isa will descend etc etc. Or did the companions lied in the name of prophet? It’s not comprehendible that soo many scolars got it wrong some.companions got it wrong and it became a major creed in islam? Would Allah allow the majority of Muslim ummah to have such a lie as a creed ? And let’s say this is a lie we muslims made error upon believing but then the whole corpus of Bukhari becomes suspicious. Then there is no trust anymore. How are we suppose to take these bukhari and muslim then serious if it got such a major error in it?

    ابن ابی شیبہ کی روایت میں ہے کہ ابن مسعود فرماتے ہیں کہ ”ویزعم اھل الکتاب ان المسیح ینزل فیقتلہ (مستدرک حاکم، رقم 8519۔ مصنف ابن ابی شیبہ، رقم 37637۔ المعجم الکبیر للطبرانی، رقم 9761)

    ترجمہ: “اہل کتاب یہ دعوی کرتے ہیں کہ مسیح علیہ السلام نازل ہو کر دجال کو قتل کریں گے”
