  • What Should One Do If The Lawfulness Of Family Wealth Is Unclear?

“Ghamidi Sahib holds the view that if a person’s parents’ wealth is unlawful (haram), one should refrain from benefiting from it. However, if I do not know whether my parents’ wealth is lawful (halal) or unlawful, what should my course of action be in such a situation? I have no personal source of income, and all of us are sustaining ourselves on family property. In these circumstances, how can I determine whether this wealth is halal or haram?”

We consider everything halal unless there is something objectionable or dubious comes to our notice. You do not need to bother unnecessarily. We are obliged to have good faith in people.

Okay, I understood. After many doubtful things came to light, the question arose, but I verified through documents and found that it is halal.
