Misguided Scholar
Abu Dhar said, “I was with the Prophet ﷺ one day and I heard him saing: “There is something I fear for my Ummah than the Dajjal.”
It was then that I became afraid, so I said: ‘Oh Rasool Allah! Which thing is that?” He ﷺ said, “Misguided and astray scholars.”
I found this hadith on the internet. When I first read it, it immediately occurred to me that the scholars discussed here are not those who question whether music is permissible or not and who question drawing, sculpting as forbidden or not.
The scholars referred to in this hadith are those who arbitrarily alter Allah’s laws (such as creating new laws without basis in the Quran) and who cause chaos and disorder in the world.
This is just my personal opinion, but I believe that those who frequently label fellow Muslims as kafir without evidence from the Quran also fall into this category
Am i right sir?

Misguided ones are those who do not follow the academic principles, but their own desires, like the ways of Jewish scholars who denied Jesus.
