Seeking Shariah Guidance Regarding Use Of Fake Name In Online Buisness
Assalamu Alaikum,
I hope you are doing well.
I would like to ask a question and seek your guidance.
I work in an online truck dispatching job. In this work, we deal with American truck drivers and provide them with dispatching services. The service we provide is completely real and legal.
However, when we initially contact the drivers, we tell them a fake English name and also say that our office is in America, while in reality we only have a virtual address.
So the service itself is genuine and legal, but our names and office address are not presented exactly as they are.
My question is would the income earned from such work be considered haram or not? Since the service itself is real and legal, but the name and location mentioned at the start are not as we present them.
Kindly provide Shariah guidance on this matter.
