Status Of Divorce W.r.t Divorce Document Mentioning Triple Talaq
I divorced my wife in August 2023. The divorce document was prepared by an advocate on stamp paper, and it stated three divorces (triple talaq). At that time we were fighting, and I made the decision emotionally and because of what people were saying. I also knew that giving three talaqs means the divorce becomes final. My wife had recently given birth; it had only been about two weeks since the delivery.
Now, after about 2.5 years, we want to get married again, but we cannot find any solution or way to do it.
Looking forward any halat way out.

If three divorces have already been given and the divorce has become final, then according to Islamic law, the first step for remarriage is to follow the procedure of “Halala.” In Halala, your former wife marries another man through a legitimate marriage, and that marriage is completely ended after divorce. Only then can she marry you again. However, it is not permissible for you to arrange a marriage yourself and then have it divorced in order to make it lawful for you.This entire process should not be done through planning or trickery, but must be carried out completely in a lawful and Shariah-compliant manner.

This case will be handled by the city court because this way of talaq is against Islamic Sharia law. The court will decide whether I can remarry her or not.

If you intentionally signed the papers, then the divorce has taken place.
