Sunnah: Fiqh Or Hadees
It is claimed that the written record of sunnah is in fiqh… Fuqha in every period would record the ijmah and tawatur of sunnah into their books..
But when we keenly analyse fiqh book, we find fuqha themselves would refer ahadees to derive sunnah and other religious things..
While recording namaaz, they refer to quran first to prove its obligation, then each fuqha goes to the hadees records to prove different postures of namaaz and thus disagree themselves in final understanding and results…
Instead of simply quoting how namaaz is practiced in the muslim ummah in their era, they present their understanding and preferences in hadees and present their final understanding…
So, what is the basis of this claim that fiqh is the written record of sunnah transferred by ijmah and tawatur..
