Essential Requirements And Sunnah Practices Of Nikah In Islam
I wanted to seek your guidance regarding the proper way to perform Nikah according to Islamic teachings. Insha’Allah, my Nikah is approaching soon, so I would be very grateful for your advice.
Could you kindly explain the essential requirements and conditions of Nikah? I would like to understand what things are necessary for it to be valid, such as the role of witnesses, consent, Mahr, and any other important aspects that should be followed.
Additionally, if there are any common mistakes people should avoid or any recommended practices that make the Nikah more complete in the light of Islam, I would really appreciate your guidance on that as well.

Nikah is a formal ceremony to public ally announce that a man and a woman are now husband a wife. Two witnesses are appointed in front of whom many and woman pronounce that they accept each other as espoused. Haq e mehr should be decided. It can be paid immediately or later. These are essentials.
If there is an elder who tie the knot or any one else, he should recite some verses of Qur’an and may address the audience. This is optional.
The rest is cultural activities that can be adopted but there should be nothing immoral or indecent there.
