    Asak,

Can you please explain and clarify the contents of this hadith? Sahih Muslim 2188

According to my understanding, how can a person identify who may have inflicted the evil eye upon them? Secondly, if someone asks another person for their wudu/ghusl water, how would that person not feel insulted or uncomfortable?

Is this considered a practical approach in today’s context?

Please guide me regarding this matter.

    Thanks

    This is the Hadith:

The influence of an evil eye is a fact; if anything would precede the destiny it would be the influence of an evil eye, and when you are asked to take bath (as a cure) from the influence of an evil eye, you should take bath.

This is the human experience, which has nothing to do with Deen. Why should one feel insulted for taking a bath.
