Watching Animal Sacrifice
What is the perspective of religion for qurbani. Most people recommend to spend time with animal and sacrifice the animal yourself and even tell children to watch the slaughtering process? Most kids gets scared and will it kill their empathy towards animals ?

The sacrifice of an animal is a symbolic expression of one’s own sacrifice in the name of God. A Muslim shows his dedication to God that if He calls him to sacrifice himself for His sake, he will not hesitate.
Animals are creatures of God, and He has allowed us to slaughter them for food and for sacrifice.
One should slaughter an animal only when one knows how to do this job. Otherwise, a skilled person should do it on his behalf.

Thanks A lot for the answer. How about asking your kids to watch animal sacrifice. I am asking this question as it is considered very important to make your kids watch the sacrifice.
