What I understand from clips of Al Mawrid scholars Qasr namaz is read in a situation like a long overseas travel. Or where circumstances render it impossible to read prayers in time. Like a surgeon operating. I have not heard of a fixed time period of 6 days or as one also heard 15 days maximum. I think one can go back to normal prayers as soon as the circumstances permit but obviously this differs from person to person.

I have the same question. What if I want to offer full prayer even nawafil then is it mandatory to do qasar when you’re traveling? And what’s the exact criteria to do qasar.

Qasar Salah is an option/relaxation given in case we are facing an undue difficulty (Usar) to offer complete Salah. When you’re travelling and you do not feel any discomfort whatsoever to offer complete Salah, then you should offer complete Salah.
