How far can we go until lyrics become polytheistic?

For example tuj mein rab dikhta Hai. And sajda mein yuh hi jukh ta hun tum pe hi age rukh ta hun.

Then the problem of vile language eg murder gangs etc. This poetry is used extensively in even the saba muallaqaat- does it make listening to this music haraam?

Then there is the use of the two categories combined. Vile and sexual – again imru’ul Qays raping a woman in her camels howdah is in his poem studied around the world in Madrasas- does it make the song haraam?

Would we say listening to these songs which we find immoral is haraam?

So this is what I’m understanding, I like many songs that contain explicit lyrics but I don’t see anything wrong with it since I’m not going to do such actions. Same with stories with main characters who are committing immoral activities. These are just stories of of people so why is just hearing stories be a bad thing? Being a horror movie fan doesn’t mean you will be inspired to become a mass murder. There has been studies debunking the idea that violent video games will increase violent tendencies in people.

Vulgar or explicit speech is not permissible in any form—whether in songs, poetry, or ordinary conversation—so it should be avoided. There is an important distinction between refined, romantic literary expression and outright vulgarity, and one should be mindful not to blur that line.

The issue of movies centered on mass violence is somewhat different. It is generally advisable to maintain moderation in consuming such content, because it is well‑established that a person’s environment can influence their thoughts and behavior. Some individuals may be strong enough to remain unaffected, but this cannot be assumed for everyone. For this reason, exercising caution is wise, especially when exposure is frequent or prolonged.
