    @faisalharoon

    How far does the fitrat go into affirming God (it being the way to make things into knowledge).

    How deeply can we understand God without his book?

    Do we get an idea of mercy justice truthfulness etc- or just the existence of a creator?

    Your questions are already answered by Ghamidi sahab in these videos:

    Discussion 30094

    If there’s anything that’s not clear, please cite the video and time.

    As a very brief recap, Ghamidi sahab used an example that a Muslim or a Hindu can’t make an animal follow their beliefs. Humans have this potential in their fitra. Also he explained that the book of God only elaborates what’s already in our fitra, and cited an ayah of the Quran where God asks us to follow our own fitra.

    I think that he has covered this topic from every angle in such detail that if one watches these lectures with patience – perhaps several times – there are no more confusions left.
