    If there is ليس كمثله شيء, then when the ‘yadh of Allah’ is talked about, doesn’t that mean there is something of him that is like something else?

    Remembrance or yaad of God means to remain mindful that there’s an entity who created us, one day we shall meet Him, and spend our entire lives with a sense of accountability. It has nothing to do with material existence.

      Oh I’m sorry- I meant the Arabic meaning of the word- hand

    I kind of got an answer that the principle is that there is no example unto God. So in the few places where hand or face is used in this manner it is simply to put forward the effect
