Arrival of Imam Mahdi Episode 1
Q. What is the meaning of “aqeeda” and does the Quran refer to this word? What is “imaan” (faith) and what are its constituents? From 0:12 to 9:17
Q. What are the fundamental sources to determine “imaniyaat”? Are the concepts like the arrival of Imam Mahdi mentioned in the list of “imaniyaat” in the original sources of Islam? From 9:18 to 12:45
Q. If Allah Almighty wanted to make it a part of “imaan”, then was it necessary to mention it explicitly in the Quran that Imam Mahdi AS would be sent before Qiyamah? From 12:46 to 15:25
Q. There are other signs of Qiyamah, which are not mentioned in the Quran, like the end of slavery and the construction of high-rise buildings by Arabs as narrated in Hadith-e-Jibreel. If those signs are acceptable then why is it insisted that the issue of Imam Mahdi AS ought to be present in the Quran? From 15:25 to 19:31
Q. When we demand the proof of where the Quran has made this issue a part of faith, it is asked in response that which ayah in the Quran negates it and unless there is a proof of negation, whatever is found in narrations can be made part of ‘imaniyat’. Is this argument correct? From 19:32 to 21:44
Q. It is argued that the Ahadith regarding the arrival of Imam Mahdi AS are numerous, continuously narrated and reach the standards of “Tawatur”. What is the difference between “Khabar-al-Wahid” and “Mutawatir” Ahadith? If something is narrated through “Tawatur”, does its importance increase? Can the law of “Tawatur” be applied over Hadith? From 21:44 to 36:27

Arrival of Imam Mahdi Episode 2
Q. Summary of the common viewpoint regarding the arrival of Imam Mahdi From 0:12 to 2:53
Q. There exist such a huge number of narrations regarding the arrival of Imam Mahdi, almost 500 in total. How can they still be characterized as “Khabar-al-Wahid” and why can’t “Tawatur” be applied on them? What’s the difference between “Tawatur-e-Tabqa” and “Tawatur-e-Akhbar”? What are the principles of “Ilm-al-Rijal”? Is there no mention of Imam Mahdi in Muwatta of Imam Malik, Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, the three books which are considered the ‘Umhuhatul Kutub’ (the essential and most authentic books) in the knowledge of Hadith? How do, according to ‘tankeeh’ (investigation) by Muhadditheen, those 500 “Turuq” in the entire corpus of Hadith originate from just 7 incidents, i.e., 7 narrations from 4 sahaba (companions)? From 2:53 to 34:02
Q. Does Ghamidi sahab accept those 7 incidents narrated in the name of 4 companions as found by the Muhadditheen and how does he interpret those selections? Are there any other scholars who reject or question the validity of the concept of the arrival of Imam Mahdi? From 34:03 to 40:22
Q. Ghamidi sahab’s reading of those 7 narrations one by one and explanation of how there is not even a trace of Imam Mahdi in each of them From 40:23 onwards
Q. Three Tareeq from Abu Sa’id Khudri RA – A Just and Generous Caliph/Ruler 40:37
Q. Abi Nazrah’s narration from Jabir Bin Abdullah RA – A Generous Ruler 46:20
Q. Another narration from Jabir Bin Abdullah RA – The ‘Amir’ and ‘Imam’ of the Righteous Group who will lead Salah upon the Return of Esa AS 51:12
Q. Narration from Abu Huraira RA – Esa AS would lead Salah 56:29
Q. Narration from Abdullah Ibn Masud RA – Before the end of the world, a namesake of the Prophet (pbuh) from Ahl-e-Bayt who will be a just and generous ruler in Arab 59:20
Q. Narration from Abu Sa’id Khudri RA – A ruler having a broad forehead and high nose / Reign of 7 years 1:05:47. Another Tareeq from Abu Sa’id Khudri RA – A Just and Generous Ruler in Arab for 7 to 9 Years 1:09:55

Arrival of Imam Mahdi Episode 3
Q. The last narration from Abu Sa’id Khudri RA – The use of word “Mahdi” and its meaning – Conclusive analysis of all these 7 narrations – How was the word “Mahdi” added to the Hadith books of secondary standards later on and why is it missing in Bukhari and Muslim which use the word “Amiruhum” – Does Ghamidi sahab accept the narrations of Bukhari and Muslim regarding a just and generous ‘Caliph’? Who, according to Ghamidi sahab, was that ruler mentioned in those prophecies? From 0:12 to 27:24
Q. Ghamidi sahab insists that there is no mention of “Mahdi” in the most authentic books of Hadith i.e., Muwatta by Imam Malik, Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. Does Ghamidi sahab recognize the possibility that a narration might be “Sahih” yet could not get included in Bukhari? Why does Ghamidi sahab sometimes even question the narrations present in Bukhari and Muslim? In the field of Hadith, when a narration is taken, even if there is an element of weakness due to “Ta’adud-e-Turuq”, if the details missing in the Sahihain are fully elaborated in other books, doesn’t it become acceptable? From 27:24 to 37:03
Q. It is narrated that the Prophet (pbuh) said that Allah Almighty will appoint a person (mujaddid) in every century who will strengthen and revive the religious matters of the ‘Ummah’. If this divine system is present for rectification of religious matters, why is it not possible that Allah Almighty might have appointed a “Mahdi” as well? From 37:03 to 39:25
Q. It is argued that the Quran hints towards the arrival of Imam Mahdi AS as it says that “Yakunuddin Kullu lillah” i.e., the whole of ‘Deen’ (religion) will be of Allah. If Mahdi AS won’t come, how will this happen and who else will do it? From 39:25 to 41:42
Q. How is it possible that this concept of the arrival of Imam Mahdi AS has become so dominant, has been included in the books of “aqayid” and widely accepted by Muslims scholars and masses? Where did this entire idea come from? What should be the correct approach in understanding this entire issue? Is Ghamidi sahab’s approach new or is it the same as that of the great Muhadditheen who laid down the principles in the field of Hadith? From 41:42 to 1:07:20
