But didn’t the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم also hit Aisha رضي الله عنه once?

      When? Any hadith reference?

Ghamidi sahab has explained this issue in a lot of detail in the following video. Please keep in mind that in Ghamidi sahab’s discourse if an ayah within itself is clear, there’s no reason to look elsewhere in the Quran for any further tafseer.

Ghamidi sahab has explained in detail from 7:00 to 12:00 what is meant by rebellious attitude that’s addressed here.

So it’s about rejecting the status as a head. What is a practical example. The wife wants the child to go to x school against the husband’s wish is this nushuz?

What you’re referring to in the example you cited is a disagreement, not a rebellion. For further clarification, please watch the entire video with patience and lookup the words Disagreement and Rebellion in the dictionary.

If the husband says that he will go to my school I have made this decision. And she still argues further shows ie resistance to this authority of his decision is that nushuz?

Because rebellion is resistance (usually armed) to authority

Or is it for example her persistence in wanting to send her child to a private school when you can’t afford it.

I can think of any ‘rebellious attitude’ or anything that would ‘undermine the authority of the husband’
