Age Of Islam
In Indian subcontinent it is always called that muslim are converted from Hinduism and his ancestors was Hindu. Because Hindu is the 5000 yrs old history, while Christian are 2000yrs old and Muslims are 1400 yrs old.
This type of topics are always heated, hatred on media. So as a Muslim how we should react/tackle these issues.

This kind of debates stem from the misconception that Islam is only 1400 years old. According to the Quran, Islam started with Adam, and all messengers of God including Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus – everyone brought the message of Islam. Prophet Muhammad SAW was the last messenger of Islam sent to earth, and Quran is the last book of Islam, not the first.

Yes of course we know now, but in last 500yrs ago most of the the Hindu community converted and accept the Islam. So the debate is that your ancestors was Hindu now you are Muslim, changes has come how.
