67:16 ‘In The Heavens’
Al-Mulk – 67:16
Arabic
ءَأَمِنتُم مَّن فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يَخۡسِفَ بِكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَمُورُ
English – Sahih International
Do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not cause the earth to swallow you and suddenly it would sway?
Is this just a mutashabihaat that we would say that ‘God being in heaven is not like us being in heaven’? Or does it, like sahih international translates, refer to authority?
