  • Why Is Killing Of Animals For Consumption Allowed?

In the conversation of Hazrat Suleiman AS with Ants,

Those ants had full awareness of pain and death. And they’re trying to get to safety.

After knowing that how can we still take a life for meat when they are certainly trying to avoid.

Simply because Allah has allowed us.

And with Tasmia. In normal circumstances only An’am (livestock, farm animals) are permitted to eat by Allah SWT.

    Syrah An’am

    118. So eat of that over which the Name of God was pronounced, if you indeed believe in His revelations.

    119. And why should you not eat of that over which the Name of God is pronounced, when He has detailed for you what is prohibited for you, unless you are compelled by necessity? Many lead astray with their opinions, through lack of knowledge. Your Lord knows best the transgressors.

First, if God has putted these animals at human service, then why are not Willing to provide their service.

For example those ants certainly fear death and trying to avoid it, why were those ants wasn’t happy with their Creator for putting them in our service.

And saying instead, Thank God we are fulfilling our services to humanity?

Please see this if you’re looking for a philosophical perspective into meat eating:

The example of ants that you quoted above is irrelevant because we do not eat ants. On the contrary, the animals that we do eat (i.e. those of cattle category etc.) are in our experience very compliant and suitable for meat-eating.
